The Burn

For the tenth episode of the sixth season of Salomon Freeski TV, we developed an original idea with director Jeff Thomas that required the use of extensive visual effects. The idea was to shoot an entire episode in a "burn-zone" where a forest fire had recently passed through. Through the use of visual effects we gave the illusion that the forest was still smoldering in the wake of the fire. The Burn was awarded Best Visual Effects at the IF3: International Freeskiing Film Festival in 2013.
